You should start to make the .dll first, once you have the dll done and all the logic of the trading system/indicator put inside the dll (not in the .afl, because .afls cannot be protected) you can use some off the shelf softwares to protect and pack/encrypt the .dll file so no one, unless experienced, can look or disassemble the .dll witout first unencrypting or unpacking your .dll file.
