OwnData 2.5 is the second generation of unique software that allows you using third party data in TradeStation 8 and thus opens brand new possibilities for your trading. Previously you were limited to the data provided by TradeStation Securities servers. Now OwnData 2.5 opens eSignal, Interactive Brokers (TWS), Patsystems (J-Trader), IQFeed, MarketCast, TradeStation2000i GlobalServer, CyberTrader, Tenfore, Free Quotes, ASCII (plain text), Universal DDE and other data sources to you (read more about supported data feeds). OwnData 2 is developed from the scratch considering the user input, the issues and limitations of the first generation. This project is expanding rapidly, please see the latest news on the progress of OwnData 2 development.

Even if you`re content with the data provided by TradeStation Securities, we recommend OwnData 2.5, as it will allow importing ASCII (plain text) files to native TradeStation data or give you a backup in case of any problems with TradeStation Securities feed. Using OwnData 2.5 significantly decreases the risks of interrupting the trading system`s work and receiving faulty data. The program allows access to completely new trading securities and opens new analysis possibilities. Deep integration with TradeStation 8 provides for effective and user-friendly handling.

OwnData 2.5 solves a number of principal problems associated with using TradeStation 8.1:
• Incomplete trading markets coverage. Lack of Canadian, Asian, African, European and other markets;
• Lack of a backup data vendor if there`s interruption of real-time quotes;
• Plotting charts on the basis of Bid or Ask not supported;
• Synthetic symbols creation for subsequent use in TradeStation 8 not supported.

• Improved stability, user interface and compatibility with TradeStation 8.2 (Build 3848), simple installation, automatic switch to the latest TradeStation 8 build.

• Supported data sources: eSignal, Interactive Brokers (TWS), Patsystems (J-Trader), TradeStation2000i GlobalServer, TradeStation Securities, CyberTrader, Tenfore, Bloomberg, TransAct Futures, Free Quotes, Universal DDE (20 predefined templates), ASCII (plain text). • A local quote management system for data storage and rapid access to it. All the data is stored in the local database (QuoteManager), so you don`t need to download it over and over again. Also, OwnData 2.5 allows you using the received data in offline mode.

• Ability to view and edit data that is stored in the QuoteManager. It helps quickly find and correct the bad ticks as well as add or delete new data.

• QuoteManager can work in the online mode. In the online mode the unlimited number of symbols can be connected to a data feed and the received quotes are stored in the database. Thus, there is no necessity to create a chart to receive quotes, now it is possible to do it in QuoteManager.

• Advanced import of ASCII data into symbols of any data feeds. Automatic recognizing of most known formats, high performance and support for multigigabyte files. TradeStation 8 users are able to combine native and 3d party ASCII data.

• Advanced ASCII mapping. Sometimes importing data to the database is extremely complicated or outright impossible. In such a case ASCII mapping is the solution, especially if one or several ASCII files constantly used are periodically updated. Even if there are just a few updates per day, re-importing hundreds of symbols is difficult or just not feasible. When mapping, the file path and format is indicated once, and every time a chart is created the program finds the file automatically, converts it into the necessary format based on the preset configuration and displays the data.

• Charts from different data sources can be used in the same Chart Analysis Window.

• Data Sampling. Automatic creation of minutes from ticks, days from minutes, etc.

• A simplified system of queries creation in TradeStation 8. The selection of the desired symbol and data provider is determined by the symbol name and prefix. For instance, a query for `IB:MSFT:A` will return ask data from Interactive Brokers for MSFT symbol.

Did you test this one? I have heard previously that certain Owndata did not work properly.

If you can post a screenshot of it working, it would be great or else I will have to send it to my Tradestation Tester.

Program works but it's actually version is 2.5.789.787. Also program has some bugs (program's not crack's bugs because I also test this version with keygen). It loads data very slowly then working with Global server datafeed (up to several minutes per chart), when working with Metastock data it works only with 1-min and 1-day intervals and doesn't display data of other intraday intervals independently of Quote Manager settings for Metastock files (there are 2 variants: Build minute bars from Resolution file or Build minute bars from 1 Minute resolution file) although you can make other intervals from 1-min in Tradestation, and also it sometimes causes crash or hang of Tradestation.
