MultiCharts is a professional charting and automated trading platform, designed for futures, stock, and forex traders. A key feature of MultiCharts is the compatibility with industry-standard TradeStation EasyLanguage. EasyLanguage studies can be customized, optimized, and back-tested prior to implementing them on the real market.
MultiCharts includes very powerful and flexible charting that handles multi-symbol and multi-timeframe charts, and works with most leading streaming data vendors. Time-based and Count-based, as well as Bid, Ask, or Trade-based data series can be mixed within the same chart.

Symbol and Interval Linking saves time and makes work more convenient. This featuremakes it possible to link charts in groups according to symbol name or interval (resolution). Each group is identified by one of the 14 different colors. When a symbol or the resolution is changed for any one chart of the group, the changes will automatically be applied to the rest of the linked charts. Unique to MultiCharts is the ability to link not only different Chart Windows, but SubCharts within the same window as well.

MultiCharts comes with over two hundred pre-built studies for an in-depth market analysis, covering the most popular trading concepts and indicators. This comprehensive library includes traditional as well as state-of-the-art studies. A key advantage of MultiCharts is that any study's code can easily be modified. Nearly any custom indicator can also be created from scratch. The analysis techniques in MultiCharts have a number of advanced options:

All indicators have the built-in standard alerts, which can be used as-is or modified. Custom alert criteria can also be written using the EasyLanguage®. An alert can be chosen to suit your needs - visual, audio, as well as a custom sound or text. Alerts can be set to be triggered intra-bar or on close of a bar.

Every visual aspect of each study's appearance can be customized, providing unmatched flexibility in presenting the data. Here is a partial list of the customization options:

In addition to the above studies, MultiCharts offers the unique add-on techniques from third party vendors. Those techniques are not mere indicators - they're real trading methods. These methods' algorithms are not transparent, and a payment of license fees is required for their use.

MultiCharts is the only independent platform that supports EasyLanguage® to a maximum possible extent. There is no need to learn a new language - custom studies can be created in industry-standard EasyLanguage®, and any already existing techniques can simply be imported from the ELA\ELS\ELD archives . A broad range of intelligent drawing tools, for highlighting trends, gaps, and other price patterns, is provided. In addition to the usual visual parameters (color, style, weight, and font), the actual coordinate values can be edited for a greater degree of accuracy. Simply click and drag with the mouse to draw, resize, move, rotate, or extend Trendlines, Gann Fans, Support & Resistance lines, or other objects. Drawings can be cloned, or completely removed, or their visual order changed, all with a single click of the mouse.

Trading signals can be created in MultiCharts' EasyLanguage®-compatible PowerLanguage, and back-tested by using the historical data prior to implementing the strategy on the real market. MultiCharts comes with over eighty pre-built trading signals, any of which can easily be modified. MultiCharts' strategy creation offers unparalleled flexibility options:

MultiCharts offers two optimization methods:

Exhaustive optimization systematically goes through all the potential combinations in search for the best solution. The length of time required to find the solution it is proportional to the total number of all possible solutions. Unless relatively few parameters are involved, the period of time required to reach a solution by this approach becomes unacceptably long. Thus, exhaustive optimization is only suitable when there is a limited number of possible solutions.

By using the genetic algorithms, a near-optimum solution can be found in a fraction of the time required by the brute-force approach. The genetic algorithms method is powerful enough to analyze hundreds of parameters within an acceptable timeframe, and the Genetic Optimizer settings add flexibility to this technique.

MultiCharts can superimpose several surfaces on a 3D graph. Superimposition can be used to compare the efficiency of Genetic Optimization with that of Exhaustive Optimization, or the robustness of several different strategies. 3D surfaces can be drawn by any criteria available in the Optimization Report, such as Net Profit, Percent Profitable, Max Drawdown, among other. As an aid to analysis, the relevant input and output values are displayed when the mouse pointer is placed over a particular point on the graph's surface.

True Dynamic Portfolio Backtesting simulates the actions of a real trader by taking in to account the overall portfolio considerations dynamically, during the evaluation of each bar. Portfolio equity and the available capital are dynamically evaluated for every instrument, on every bar, in order to determine the amount available to be invested. When available capital is insufficient to enter all of the trading opportunities that arise simultaneously, the best opportunities are selected according to user-customizable criteria. In addition to the performance of a particular instrument, portfolio drawdown or other portfolio performance aspects can be taken in to consideration when making entry and exit decisions.

MultiCharts automated trading platform is seamlessly integrated with the Interactive Brokers order execution gateway, making it possible to fully automate the trading process.

A characteristic feature of MultiCharts Automated Trade Execution is that orders, instead of being sent at the moment that they appear on the chart, are sent at the close of the previous bar. This approach ensures that the prices, at which the orders are actually filled, correspond more closely to the prices on the chart.

With this version, does it work with realtime data? so can I use Tradestation data for Multichart? And will it be ok to use esp as this has been cracked?

Very small patch alterations of non-critical script that keep platform as pure as possible.




As a side note, thank you mods for lowering purchase cost of this release to a much more reasonable amount. Very good software that as many as possible should be able to try.

This is a good stuff, i use MC for a while and Jerry Lable is indicator to look at the trend for trade. i hope i can downloade it but not enough point to do it, hope can get it soon. thanks for shearing.
