1. Run JRPlug2.exe to install
2. Copy JurikLib.dll into the folder where you installed Amibroker.
3. Copy all .afl files into /<your installed Amibroker folder>/Formulas/Jurik

WHY anybody is not posting Jurik tools for Metastock plzzzzzzz..

Joe dont mind if its in wrong thread but its not available for Metastock only. for TradeStation is there , or shall i shift to Amibroker ?

Dear Joe_Admin,

I have doubt about this plugin. This is not original.

Reason for that:

(1) When we extract JRplug2 then we get JRPlug.dll

Uploader say copy JurikLib.dll installed folder. When we get JRPlug.dll then why we copy Juriklib.dll.
It prove that juriklib.dll not the original.If this plugin is original then we should copy cracked JRPlug.dll.

(2) In the attached JSB_JMA.afl we use JSB_JMA( Close, Length, Phase)
but enclosed JRPlug.html page formula for jurik moving average is
JurikJMA( Close, 30 , 0).This proves that it is not original.

This is my personal view.

I am the one who wrote the install instructions.
The reason I added the "copy JurikLib.dll statment" in the instructions is because it was included in the uploader's files. I found no use to it, but since it was included, I merely wrote in the instructions to just copy it just in case.

The real difference was made by JRPlug2.exe (it was not included in uploader's files, so I had to read the included .pdf instructions who told me to go and download it online, I did so).

Once I installed JRPlug2.exe, it worked for Amibroker 5.1 as shown in the screenshot. Before installing JRPlug2.exe, Amibroker complained of missing libraries.

About the JSB_JMA( Close, Length, Phase) & JurikJMA( Close, 30 , 0) inconsistency, I think it has to do that Jurik's functions are programmed in different languages/platforms, and at times, the authors are lazy in following their own function names in the documentation. They just use the same documentation for different platforms/languages they program for.

I hope this clears things out.

I compare Tradestation(jurik) with this one (See screenshot) DMX & VEL give us differenct result on same length period.

Yes, this reenginered version is even available in some places in the internet, but for example JMA reenginered - repaints itself, so it is useless and and dangerous stuff.
