[Support] Tradestation 8.3 issue, won't shut down by itself
|
|
using TradeStation 8.3 build 1620 (version 9.05.19.0000) with single (Tradestation.8.3.(bld.1620)- working patch .exe) crack
with owndata 2.5.984.804 with keygen and dll crack
use esig for input data, i have everything running correctly.
but if i exit TradeStation, it closes, but in order to re-open i have to go into task manager and end all 8 or so processes related to TS.
I am using vista

Same experience here. Seems no fix to it.
Tradeststaion 8.x always leave something in the memory when you quit.

I have't use Tradestation for a while. I'm probably wrong. New 8.3 build 1631 cracked seems able to shutdown properly with owndata 2.5.984.804 (actually 2.6)
Older 8.3 with Owndata 2.5 do have this problem.
I probably can write a small utility to shutdown the process left by TradeStation. But I want some small Wealth cash, I'm too poor.

Hi Masta, I have used Windows for years, and I don't even know XP comes with taskkill command. All I can think of is the SysInternal pskill utility.

voyage,
this works well and comes in quite handy whenever TradeStation crashed or freezes.

jtnet,
I have no experience with Vista, but did a search and the taskkill command is still supported by the windows command interpreter. If Tradestation should have decided to rename their exe files under vista (what I'd doubt) you should simply have to rename them, otherwise you are good to go with the solution posted above.
Regards,
Masta
