I wish to upload a Metastock Indicator.
Can I upload from TASC. Is this open code?

What about indicators from "Metastock Made Easy", Metastock Formula Center 2.0? Is this open code?

Code from "Metastock Tips & Tools" by Roy Larson is this something of value and is it open code?

I have read and re-read the Global Stickey Threads. For a first timer this is very difficult. Knowing what is of value, how to describe the entry and adding pictures of graphs requires much searching.

Thanks for your interest in learning the posting standard.
Our contribution system is basically driven by a template.
Once you press the http://www.friendlytraders.com/forum/images/ARTERY_vbb_free1/buttons_en/newthread.gif button in the Submit forums to contribute a content, you will be shown an editor with all the required fields you neeed to fill in. All headers and title layouts are already typed in he template. You just need to copy and paste the information from the developer website into the top of the template and add the download link into the Download Links section of the template.
Go ahead and press the New Thread button and you will be able to see the template generated. As long as you do not press the save post button, the thread will not be saved as a contribution post.
To post images you go to www.photobucket.com (http://www.photobucket.com) and then create a free account with them. Once you have a free account, you upload the necessary images into Photobucket.com. Then you wll be presented with an album of all images of your account with various link options for you to copy. Copy the "direct link" option into your clipboard.
then you comeback to the forum template and press this button in your editorhttp://www.friendlytraders.com/forum/images/editor/insertimage.gif. When you press this button a dialog box will pop up and ask you for the address of the image. You then paste your Photobucket.com copied file into this dialog box by choosing "Paste" or pressing the Cntrl+v keyboard combination.

As for codes from TASC, you need to ask this question before posting:

"Is the resource I plan to post easily obtained by anyone ?"

If the answer is yes, then your contribution is basically a Free contribution and as rules state it, free contributions do not get Wealthpoints awards.
TASC Trader's Tips are all basically free. Only the articles are what can cost something but we already have entire DVDs collection of TASC articles online for download.
In other words, anything provided by TASC or Active Trader or any other trading magazine is basically not very useful at this moment.
