Plan to stop accepting more Metatrader MetaTrader 4 scripts and systems

Please comment on our plan stop accepting more MetaTrader 4(Metatrader) Trading Systems.

Since the release of the decompiler for EX4 to MetaTrader 4 codes lots of members are flooding the forum with these systems, most of which are scams and get rich systems out of the box.

Also, the Metatrader 4 backtesting engine is not reliable enough and much of the equity curves generated are not realistically sampled.


Please comment with a reply to the thread so I can make a decision soon.

Metatrader is a widely used platform Joe. so if you stop accepting them many of the ppl wont get many sources out .. you can keep a guide to what system you need to post and what not . prolly that might help .. just my 1cent .. tgh.. :D . Tc

The problem is that I dont specialize in Metatrader. I am Old Tradestation user LOL
I am not sure what EA is free or better or more sought for int he markets.

The more things we have to test the more new good things we can find... i know many are scam but ....

Joe, I suggest stop accepting more Metatrader EA (Expert Advisors) . The backtesting of Metatrader does´nt work even with 90% of modeling. You have to waste a lot of time making "forward testing" . On the other side, you should accept for example commercial indicators (Private code). This pieces of code is easy to test in visual mode and many of are so good like Tradestation indicators. It´s just my opinion.

Yes there are many bad EAs but out of the many, comes a some good one. Hope we dont close door on this but may be more selective.
