Hello.
I run Tradestation 8.2 BUILD 3863 with owndata 2.4 and I cant get the radarscreen to work properly.
The problem is that I cant use indicators in the analysis technique. It seems like I have to subscribe to radarscreen for this to work.
Is there anyone who have a solution to this?
Thanks
Erik

peppe,
Using OwnData2 symbols in RadarScreen is not implemented so far and is not planned in the near future. {from TSSuport Forums}
You will have to be a Tradestation Brokerage Subscriber in order for Radarscreen to work. If you really need the Radarscreen option, switch to Omega Prosuite 2000i.
Cheers,

Thanks Zer0.
I will give Omega Prosuite 2000i a try. Do you know if it is possible to run Omega Prosuite 2000i on the same computer as Tradestation 8.2?
The version I am planning to install is:

I have run ProSuite 2000i SP5 and Tradestation 8.x simultaneously while debating the worth of the subscription. They did both work at the same time.
I stuck with 2000i BTW.

Thanks timonex.
I have installed 2000i and it work simultaneously even for me but I still have problem with the radarscreen. It seems like radarscreen only works with data in globalserver. Is this right?
To get data from ascii-files into globalsever I have installed hypertools.
With hypertools I have converted ascii-files to XPO-files. When I try to import the xpo-files to globalserver I get an error that says: "subserver dll does not exist".
I think this has to do with the datafeed. The problem is that I cant find any information on how to get it work. As I understand I have to install some program called hyperserver but cant find that program.
Is there anyone who know how to import the xpo-files created with hyperserver into globalserver?
Thanks

Peppe,
i have gotten a realtime feed from globalserver using IB using the Metaserver RT 3.2 demo software on 2000i. http://www.traderssoft.com/ts/msrt/demo/
you can only get 3 hours worth of historical data (if you like it you can purchase the full version). Works like a charm.
I do not know if this will help you with the XPO-FILES.
I too have been having problems with 8.1 and owndata 2.4. It seems to hang and i have never been able to save a workspace and be able to reopen it. Everythime i go back into TradeStation i have to reload all y indicators ( major pain). its too bad, so so close. Hope the above helps.
If anyone has any suggestions i would be grateful.

I think my problem has to do with the datafeed between globalserver and that I need some special feed if I use hypertools to create the XPO-files. Thanks anyway utechu.
Is there any other software then tradestation that has a feature as the radarscreen?
