All of them are from so-called Startasearch copies that abound on the net and none works properly.

I have personally tested this myself, using the included patch I have even upgraded to the latest 4.1 version of the program.

I cannot speak for the other copies, but this one works fine on my pc.

Try to advance you computer date and manually expire the software using the unpatched file.
Once done that, try to see if it still runs.
The app does not shut down immediately, it takes like 4 minutes to shutdown. Moreover some functions/settings just hangs the software.

The most important point is that you need to manually expire it with the original .exe file.

I have manually expired both the 3.2 & 4.1 versions, They Both Work after applying the included patch. I welcome you to try it yourself. Then please credit my wealthpoints accordingly.

I used the password:

and it cannot decrypt the password file you uploaded to rapidshare.

Hi actionguy,

How long have you been running the program stablely? This software seems to have some hidden serial calls which occur randomly after several hours of running stablely. Need a patch for those.

Actionguy: I think the problem is now solved, just one little piece was missing, I am modifying the *fix/medicine* to square out the serial call, but it still needs to be tested over several days more. Stratasearch is a software made to number crunch for long hours and even weeks, so they have all this timespan to add a boobytrap.
