Greetings,

I have uploaded a number of PDF ebooks to mediafire and have pasted the links in my forum posts.

I noticed that the administrator has archived, passworded and reuploaded the files.

Should I archive my PDF files in rar archives with your standard password before uploading to mediafire?

Any other tips?

Regards

You may read this thread:

It is better if you submit your trading stuff at ** Submit your trading stuff here ** - You See Wealth Trading Community (http://www.friendlytraders.com/forum/55-submit-your-trading-stuff) , it is because you can still see your threads after submissions.

If you still have questions, please feel free to ask. We are more than happy to answer your questions.

I have tried to upload encrypted (as you recommended) .rar and .zip files to mediafire, but am getting an error relating to password encryption and possible virus.

To be sure, I have scanned the files and found nothing.

Does mediafire accept encrypted archives?

Mediafire doesn't support encrypted passworded RAR archives.
A simple trick that we use is to rename the extension, so our files look like this:
MetaStock 10.1 Pro for eSignal(youseewealth.com).rar.zipThen you will be able to bypass its check and get through.
By the way, if you prefer, you may try to upload a sample archive so we can check to see if there is any problem.

Our archives are encrypted and passworded, and are uploaded to MediaFire, so you should be able to do what we can do.

If you still get problems, try NOT to encrypt the RAR archives. You may still password RAR archives. However MediaFire will be able to examine the structure/content of the archives. It may be less safer.
